Soldier Mindcontroled already stunned by a drone

So, one of my soldiers got stunned by a drone and then got MC the same turn by a sectoid.
That schould not be possible right?
I mean it is funny and all that. But yeah...
Or can they and it is not a bug?

It's not a bug. In fact, even the Fxs-written Mind Control effect explicitly removes any outstanding mental effects (such as stunned, disorient, panic, etc).

That means after i flashbanged the sectoid i should have my soldier back in action the next turn? That was not the case.
I had to wait two more turns until my soldier had action points again.
But thank you for clarify that it is not a bug.

I hate drones...
