Seems to be a bug, but tagging a target with the Frost Bomb removes any disorient effects on them. This can be problematic if they thaw on the next turn.
It also removes burning, but that's probably intentional.
Frost Bomb removes disorient.

That's not LW2 specific. When a unit thaws it removes all negative effect, not just the frozen state. I've had a shut down MEC reactivate after the freeze wore off (ABA2 campaign, so no LW2 involved).
