I have a question regarding the difficulty setting.
What changes with the different settings?
With a harder the setting, are there any greater rewards other then more enemies to kill? As in, better chance of drops, more exp, etc?
I might be imagine it, but hacking seams easier to succeed in Regular level then beginner?

Re: Difficulty setting
The only "backward" effect of higher difficulty is that with higher ADVENT strength globally you'll see more very light and light missions and if you take those without overinfiltrating to extremely light you'll get more kills = more XP and more loot. This is especially visible on missions where you recover bodies, Stun Lancers for instance seem pretty rare at the lowest difficulties and some Rookie players reported being unable to build Arc Blades for their Shinobis until quite late while my first HQ and 1 troop columns gave me enough to build 4 or 5 of those on Commander.
Other effects are all straightforward and simply increase the difficulty (tougher enemies, shorter mission timers, longer research ...)

... and, quite brutal excavation costs!
