Yea this is pretty well known, they're working on it I'm sure.

Also while you're at it don't give them PCS; it lets you but it just eats up, destroying it forever (also being worked on).

For the record, I'm pretty sure the +grenade damage perks mention in their little help button (the "?" on the ability select screen) that it does apply to DoT.

I actually encountered this too but didn't think anything of it!

Pretty sure that lone grunt was the only enemy in entire tower to drop loots, figured that might be why.

Did you ever play xcom2 vanilla? Using shotguns at range 1 was the best way to faceroll legendary. When I saw the LW2 let every class use shotguns I actually laughed. So, yeah, you're meant to use the double barrel secondary like a normal shotgun: at range 1. I mean that was kind of my point though...

I see no reason for Commander's Choice when you have the GTS, in fact I'm pretty sure it by default can train 2 rookies at a time now.

The Commander's archive help stuff mentions something about each readiness level having multiple gradients within , so you may still get better odds if you keep going. Off course if you are forced to start at 157% then probably no reason to like spend intel on it, unless you are in a really bad spot...

Yea I haven't gotten far enough for anything but the occasional stunny to appear. I do fear though that it will he outclassed before I get coil guns, but I guess that is why the ranger can shoot rifle first and then blast if they are that close and that big. Anyone have a good time with the pump act...

Yep, the AI won't use it special abilities/ammo unless they have a pretty valuable target. For what it's worth, it exists because Cpl Hicks had one. It's intended for close encounters. Actually I'm not sure if Hicks' shotgun qualifies as sawed off, but boy do I appreciate the reference ;) Thanks guys for actually giving advice, I was afraid I would get a bunch of "git gud" type...

Yea I'm afraid I can't help you with that then, other than perfect information for sure is not accurate.
I know it doesn't help you, but for sure the system is different than vanilla in ways I'm still figuring out (you'd think this would be written somewhere...)

I'm going to update my previous response here:
Just had an Advent rocket launched my way. Besides ripping off most the armor of Spark-001, the resulting fire killed Mr. Odd as I somehow forgot to bring a medkit.

Looks like you solved your issue ;) but from what I've read (I haven't actually gotten to psi stuff yet), you need combat exp to get them up further ranks.

Also, 1.1 official says something about making the psi stuff in general better, if that means anything to ya.

I can't answer you question definitively, but I recall reading that the AP rounds do not penetrate all armor, just a fixed amount, and they are fixing the description in the next update. As far as I can tell you with the crit damage thing, I don't seem to recall being able to see such stats in game,...
