In the beginning +1 damage or HP to Advent surely seems like a lot... But even midgame it's nothing. When most enemies have over 20 hp and deal lots of damage it just does not make any real difference. No amount of permanent DE can break your campaign. Lasers are very cheap to research when you have scientists, so no reason to skip them as they really help on randezvous missions. I did not reasearch advanced lasers though until I needed it for plasma.

I don't really keep track of when I got what so I can't tell :)

Hmm, nevermind, it's a different issue. My sniper also did not exeute that Sectopod on critical. Only third guy managed to execute it :/
Worked okay for me before this.
Special circumstances: 0-turn activation on a retaliation/invasion.

Kubikiri gained via AWC do not work.

Rolled Kubikiri on a ranger in a AWC, learned it. But it does not work when used. I deal critical damage, enemy is not executed (damage numbers are yellow). Apparently it only works when snipers use it?

This can be easily fixed by changing Collector and Scavenger to...
...Gain 1-3 intel every time you pick up a timed loot.
...Gain 0-2 alloy and 0-2 elerium every time you pick up a timed loot.
Skullmining is not problem here, since you can only do it once a mission.

Issue with Dominated or Controlled enemy units.

Two issues actually:
1) Dominated/Hacked enemy units killed in battle by XCOM or Aliens do not drop corpses (is this intended?)
2) If the said unit had loot, it is not displayed on the ground until you move a soldier to it.

Incendiary Grenades damage mechanical units - bug or feature?

Initial damage from inc. grenade damages fire-immune units, like robots or turrets (they do not catch fire though). Is this intended? If the initial damage is not fire but explosive, then why does it not shred armour? :)

Update: Just met Archon King, kubikiri DID NOT kill it outright, but dealt 56 critical damage, which seems quite right 200% critical damage (plasma lance).

Did not work unfortunately; had to roll back to an older save, lost about a week of progress becuse of this. So keep an eye on your tubes guys! :)

Reinforcments are largely dependent ob advent strength in the region. The rate is RNG-based, however, so it is not known before mission when exactly they will arrive.

I can confirm bug with Covering Fire not working sometimes, when enemies just shoot. Usually happens when the said enemies are in windows and/or on higher ground. Probably connected with stepping out and breaking line of sight this way (bugged LoS yet again).

I confirm it. Executed Berserker Queen the other day wuth Kubikiri. She had 53 hp left, while maximum possible crit from my sniper was 24.

I use very similar scheme. Blue for rangers, green for gunners, yellow for techs, white for specs, black for shinobies, purple for psi, red for assaults, grey for snipers, brown for grenadiers. Also my soldiers use specific headgear to allow me to easily identify their class in resistance management...
