I always go AWC > Engineer > GTS. I don't really see the value in GTS first. I don't find officers worth that much in the early game and I can level rookies faster on missions. BTW. Isn't the force fail strategy a waste of time? AFAIK, the cooldown starts, when the mission appears, not when you finish it. So it doesn't actually do you any good to finish it early. That's why they called it LongWar not ShortWar. The people who enjoy the game, like that it's not over in 5 hours. If I had it my way, it would be 200+ missions long. Imagine how much you could complain then!

I don't know specific about the mod itself, but if they are replacing the LW classes and you wanted to keep them you'd have to edit the mod configs to remove everything they do. The perks themselves should be available otherwise I would imagine. In the end it shouldn't much matter whether the change...

it's not abnormal for one soldier's pistol perks to be dealing 45 damage in a turn as you enter the latter stages of the game, and earlier on in the game abilities like lightning hands, clutch shot, and fanfire are extremely strong. I do use it a lot on Rendezvous (kill Faceless) missions where all that you have is maybe 1 Soldier Haven Advisor and some Rookies. I think the only thing going for longwatch is it appears to not be effected by lightning reflexes. Other than that it can be quite the anit-perk if you use a concealed unit to scout and your sniper decides to shoot. Almost worse than covering fire.
