@OP What build are you playing?

There have been changes to the bombardment mechanics on the validation build, so it's hard to incorporate this as feedback when we don't know what version of the game it's arising from.

To clarify the patch note:

I've seeing lots of saves where players have built up Mercury Dyson with the scads of Research Campuses and being entirely unconstrained in research.

We certainly intend to make the AI contest Mercury more but in the meantime trying to rein in the growth curve.

These capital-moving tricks for mega-unifications aren't really anything we intended to be part of the game so I can't really advise how to pull them off. The 3.40 code doesn't really do much yet except for that one (limited) situation mentioned in the notes.

We deliberately left out high-speed passes and have no plans to add them. We think they're suicidal and players wouldn't enjoy a screen that says "all your ships are destroyed" with no recourse.

We are working toward a stable build. Stable builds have been and will generally continue to be made available on Steam and GOG within a few hours of each other. 1) is ingame; the org logo is present on the action list in the councilor screen if it's the source of the mission.

3(b) and (c) are shown with the little faction symbols in the councilor portrait on the main screen and I think the zoom call screen too.

When an army with a navy is destroyed, the home nation gets a bunch of IPs in the Build Navy priority. It gets more if the army was in its home nation, and more if the navy had naval dominance. No, you're not. 0.3.27 is the current default build on both Steam and Gog. .28 and .29 are beta builds we're able to make available on Steam to people who opt in to them (currently about 1% of our players there).

The spamming of fleet activity alerts was a mix of bad AI behavior and some code that wanted to make sure you new there was an enemy fleet doing things nearby. Both have been adjusted.

As for #7, try the "P" key.
