Yup, I did that. Fortunately I realized immediately that it was causing it, I just thought it might not have been the intention to have instant training. They probably put it in for debugging purposes.

Can confirm that the same is happening to me. If I enable training via the barracks screen, then any perk I select is instantly trained.

I'm entirely unsure how the Counterattack skill works, but it's strange that it should appear in the Critical Chance box, no? Since, well, it functions differently from a flat dodge, which can turn a hit into a graze (and I've yet to see a Muton that parries an attack take graze damage). @ josna238,...

Just want to add yet another note here in the off chance it helps to iron out a bug, this seems to be consistent behavior for Berserkers. Kubikiri doesn't kill them on a crit, even when they are not armored. Had another one happen on a facility assault mission. Just wondering if this is reproducible...

Hey, I'd like to add to this, I just hit a Muton Berserker (19/25 hp) with Kubikiri, scored a crit but it didn't die. Was wondering if that's working as intended (i.e. are Berserkers immune)? He was left with 8 hp, no shield or armor up at the time. I also have a save game I can make available.

Item and Tech tables are found in LW_Overhaul.ini But from what I know though the infinite='true' option may not be working. Can confirm this, it happened to me as well. In my case the MEC doesn't even do any of its animations, it only teleports to where you move it while being locked under the "stunned" head-down animation.
