SMG mobility is insanely huge, and the ability with lower detection to get in close and throw a grenade or sneak around patrols is very handy. It can make objectives that much easier. Something else to consider is the better position of movment means more chances to get good angles and better chance...

Also, I've noticed something that bothers me a little but its really simple and probably an easy fix, but I know nothing about modding, so...yeah. I miss the old button in the game before missions start to "make weapons available." This helps a lot because it takes the weapons off soldier...

Not sure about the limited ammo. Sure it's possible to run out IRL but not likely in most situations, a rifleman has 5 magazines normally, in Xcom that's 20 shots, with each Xcom shot being roughly equal to 7-8 rounds. I'd probably go out on a limb and say that compared to RL that would be 15-50 bur...

I agree. You will likely see more tech research with mods. And more than likely with DLC. Also some of the research is way to quick, specifically weapons, I recall the last game I'd research tier 2 weapons and I'd been surprised at how quick that was on veteran difficulty, I felt like I wasted my we...

Ok so, I'll hunt for the variable to set the Shaken to something other than 0, which is a bit crazy low.

I'm curious how exactly it would be possible to add fatigue 'simply' with the dev tools, as opposed to having to work around... I'm guessing that it's not but it's worth asking. Interested also on thoughts on wounds and injury times as well. Another thought is the shaken concept, I think the penalty...

Having been exposed to flash bangs in the army, I know that it makes sense to affect the soldiers as well, there is also however a reasonable reduction in effect to a soldier as they are likely to be prepared (more or less).
