I would encourage other people who encounter this bug to follow the instructions in the "How to report bugs" post in the announcement section. Sending your save file through email to the devs may help them narrow down the cause of the bug, and hopefully get us all back into a working campa...

Ive sent my save file and logs to the devs, they will hopefuly fix it soon-ish, have heard nothing back beyond them looking into it. Unfortunately the latest patch that dropped today did not fix it, atleast for ongoing campaigns and saves where the problem persists. And if it is an integer underflow...

Destroying the ship causes Alien Threat to go to 4 blips. Thats all. No new retaliations. I let the game run for a couple turns. ET did not even react to the ship getting destroyed. Greater Europa tech gives the EU a claim on Moscow. That should allow you to annex atleast Russia into the EU
