Re: Admin Too Strong, Suffocating Choices In Leveling.

I think it can be balanced followign soem logic that you cannot have so many people administrating same thing. So allow only the highest admin to increase your caps (and increase the effect of each admin point for that councilor).

That will push for more specialization.

You mean they should LOWER their orbit to catch a fleet ahead of them.

Re: Nuclear weapons GDP penalty?

There is a lot more to the climate than just temperatures. Particulates in the air, gasses in the air. You devastated the earth ecosystem. :P Yet it is unrealistic. We had hundreds of nukes detonated durign the cold war, mostly in tests, but still detonations and the GPD never ever flinched from any...

Thanks, I had missed there were two "tabs" in the build ships section.

Refit mechanics eluding me

Hello, I am trying to understand refit mechanics. I have a few ships of class A, I click the refit button on the ship classes menu. I adjust the class and save. That just creates a new class B. is it possible to make my old ships of class A to re really refit into class B?

That is specially relevant when you make your 9th US army and it end up in Hawai without a navy, therefore completely useless.

Questions about economy

Hello. I have played a bit over 100 hours since the 26th, one of the things I am struggling the most to grasp is economic growth. Whenever I get a country like US under my control the economy instantly start to shrink and very fast, about 1 Trillion every 4 years. That while keeping full 3 dots for ...

Re: Ships keeps defecting to the Protectorate

I faced this problem last game and made me stop playing the game (will not restart until a patch comes because the start of the game is too boring ), I was loving the mid game, but this made it unplayable. I had 17 of my ships stolen in less than 1 year by the same faction. I think there is a mechan...

My humble opinion. The reinforcement should CONSUME the investment in either military or army (and therefore not advance these items)

Re: Questions about PD, possibly bugged

Agaisnt the aliens.. make more number of smaller ships. Do not waste time on armor since their weapons are very strong. I use several smalle ships with Lasers (not th e PD only that can intercept missiles. Keep the tightly packed so one covers the other. One ship behind is a missile barrage ship and...

Re: Some thoughts after ~40ish hours of play.

My humble opinion, I disagree completely on your last topic. I want the interface to move LESS by itself. it is super annoying when the geoscape pans. The solution for your problem is that the countries should be grouped by continent I think. Btw.. you had a lousy geography teacher if you did not kn...

Either way there should be a mechanic to counter it. ATM I think there isn't much counter play against enemy councilors, you can't stop their missions, so you lose stuff arbitrarily.

Re: Can't deploy a specific councilor to a nation!?

So I am trying to take over France. I have four agents there, one spamming propaganda, and three spamming unrest. Got it to 60% support, 7.6 unrest, and suddenly, my Kingpin, my one guy who has Coup and a Command ability above, like, seven... can't be deployed in France!? Like, at all! He can do wh...

Re: Take a scalpel to this game

I think the main issue is not the sheer number of options but the fact they are NOT well presented. Technologies for example.. order them by TYPE. Let me collapse them out and see only the types I want now. On the economy and indicators, the tool; tips need to be reworked. They are very bad at trans...

Re: Just sunk 30 hours into a game I must now quit

I agree that destroying the landed craft seems unfeasible. I bombarded it with 28 ships built with bombardment focus ( LARGE advanced rain gun cannons. Sent all my high level agents.. results all ships destroyed and no result at all.

Re: After some 16 hours playing, my observations

Played some extra 10 or so hours. More and more I see the worst problem with the game is the automatic focus on the unit/agent you select. I click in a fleet that I have in mars just so I can click in resupply.. That makes the game pan to mars, and on those fast pans is where most lag happens. It is...

Re: China Help CP

You can atke them. You just need to push public opinion to 70% or more and then start spamming crackup. Each mission will be around 10% chance, but you are eventually going to crack one. If you keep every round a single agent tryign to purge, it will purge on the same turn the crack up happens.

Re: Ships keeps defecting to the Protectorate

I think that might be related to space power. In my game, I keep receiving defectors from other factions. I am behind in world domination and resources, but since I got a jump ahead in weapons, I have been wreckign havoc in other fleets. I have more ships than all the other factions combined.

The game is hard sci fi So spaec travel is realistic. It will for most ships take days to reach moon and YEARS to reach the Jovian system.

After some 16 hours playing, my observations

First, I like the depth of the game, it is refreshing to see something on this level, thanks for the effort! I have a few points that I think must be improved: 1) Too much clicking on repetitive things. The classical example is when a mission ends you have effectively 2 popup menus to click continue...
