I like these but my one criticism is that when using commanders choice you're intentionally devaluing your GTS and making it more beneficial to get later
I used CC like you did but found it just made the game too easy because I basically never got stuck with anything I had to 'work with' and always had top tier hackers, snipers, rangers, etc.

Re: Commander Level After Action Report
I seriously never used it except for a few of my favorite soldiers from the pool, making them be the class that they are "fated" to be. I play with NCE off, so it made virtually no difference at all.

I always used Commander's Choice. Knowing what soldiers are good at (ie. their stats) should influence how they get trained (which class they become), especially for a special ops insurgency with small numbers (not even the size of an infantry company). As well, certain classes are the vital core I build squads around (Officer Specialists, Shinobis, Boomers, and Shooters) and I need more of some before I need others. I think using the stock LW2 sort-of-random selection is far too much of an artificial gameplay limitation. I still build the GTS ASAP (after initial Scientists) because sending out Rookies is risky, officers are vital and needed soon, and the GTS tactical improvements are vital.
