Mining Outpost help

I'm new to the game. I'm in the process of launching my first mining outpost but I can't find any options to send the whole package (fission pile, core hab and mining module) to the site I have chosen. Do I have to wait to deploy the core and then send the other modules? After reading the beginner guide on the wiki my understanding was that you can send all the modules together if you have the resources (boost, in this case), so that you have a working hab right away. Am I missing something?

I believe you need the core first to claim the area. Once that is down, you can build 4 modules of your choice on it's cardinal points: power, mining, etc..

I see, thanks. I thought that I could send all the modules together in one trip instead of waiting for the core to be sent and assembled and then sending the other modules.

You can send all the modules at once (though not in one button click). Send the main module, then click "take me here" in the popup, and drag in the modules you want to place.
