Old cover bonuses

Im new to modding and all of this and i was wondering if there was a way to restore the cover bonuses and the aim contributed to them back to semi normal.
In the file XComGameCore.ini, fine these lines
LOW_COVER_BONUS=30
HIGH_COVER_BONUS=45
I believe vanilla is 20 and 40 respectively, so you can change them to that.
