Removing reinforcement smoke from easy difficulty?

I played couple campaigns with veteran, toughed I try how easy is.

Noticed it has vanilla red-smokes for enemy reinforcements enabled, which shows where they will land. Is it possible to disable them from that difficulty?

XComLW_Overhaul.ini, line 31 or so,
change
+DISABLE_REINFORCEMENT_FLARES[0]=false
to
+DISABLE_REINFORCEMENT_FLARES[0]=true
