On a recent mission, I found myself in a situation where I had a group of advent come up from behind me and I wanted to rocket them. I found however that my technical couldn't fire a rocket in any direction that flanked his position. He could fire the rocket at targets that were on the opposite side of his cover that he was protected from, but not in the flanking directions.

I'm running long war 1.1 on windows 10. I have flank preview, evac all, line of sight preview, preview enemy movements, and a handful of voice mods running. I have a few bug fix and QOL mods installed but disabled that I can provide if you think they are important and also have a reliable save file but I will need someone to walk me through how to get it to you.

Probably a leftover nod to realism from the old rocket launcher they're borrowing code from. Backblast can be fatal if you've got a wall behind you.
