A two man team (1 squadie, 1 rookie) were captured when both were mind-controlled by sectoids on the same turn.

In the next mission the squadie is in the default squad selection. He does not appear in either the roster or the memorial screens. He DOES appear in the roster view. (Not sure about the rookie, don't remember his name. But he's not in the memorial.)

Don't know what happens if I run the mission with him in it ... copied the save before I launch.

5) Whether you are able to offer a savegame for us to look at.

Yup. The soldier in question is Zavier "Blockhead" Vaughan ... after my one year old. It's very fitting, he's always breaking shit at home too.

Hey, I had that bug too!

If you remove him from the squad via the squad management interface he should go away and not come back (unless you rescue him). I believe it's related to having a soldier captured while they're on a mission in a temporary squad different from their permanent squad.

Should be fixed in the first patch IIRC.

I've just encountered this issue on the latest version of lw2, so it seems to still be present.

Interesting. We fixed this several months and several releases ago and haven't had any other reports of it since. Do you still have a saved game from when this happened that we can look at?
