Tactical events make advent super human?

I mean, now that pods are smaller and thus Agression and Bring 'em up are nerfed for us as a result, how come when you go with a 10 squad members on a Black Site mission and the opposite side you get to face is THAT:

How exactly are you expected to face that when you don't know what you are facing in the first place? I'm fine with the principle of DE although having 23 DE stacked is... well another world. If not for "Another F1" mod, I would be dead. This guy can litteraly crit kill on every shot even with the best armor. This was a Force 3 (Tech level 18, Vigilance 9) by the way.

Neither Bring 'Em On or Executioner are Dark Events, actually - some units just have certain perks due to the type of unit they are. ADVENT Shock Troopers, it appears, have those ones.

EDIT: In fact, Aggression is also an automatic perk for Shock Troopers - the only perk they are eligible to gain from Dark Events is Centre Mass, plus the general stat boost DEs, like the three +1 HP ones they have there.
