Can't advance beyond opening mission

Started LW2 campaign, got through the first mission. Back to Avenger, promoted, went through cut scenes. Popped out to the Geoscape, scanned the Black Market, but can't get any farther. The scan button for the one haven I have isn't there leaving me stuck at the Black Market. I can access the haven and adjust the jobs or install a leader, just can't fly there.
I have restarted twice. Deleted the config files, like everyone says to do, to no avail. Then dropped all mods, deleted and reinstalled the game, reinstalled LW2 and Commander's choice, and the button is still missing. Deleted the config files again and still no scan button.

On the haven itself is the scan button. did you look there? Otherwise, I'm not sure?

Did you click on the haven's name to fly the Avenger back to the HQ?

That's the problem, the button isn't there.

Apparently I'm a giant dumba**, or it just wasn't working all weekend. Fired it up again after work, tried clicking on the Haven name (as per Zyrrashijn) and the Avenger moved and the scan button popped up. Shrug
