Thoughts on first complete campaign.

Post by Tomekdan »

I tried to drag it out as long as possible but by mid May 2036 it was becoming too difficult. I was able to liberate 3 regions and another 2 were ready for liberation. Advent strength in these regions were 8 or higher. I really lover the Snipers with double tap the Rangers with rapid reaction and the Gunner with saturation fire. I also found the Specialist hacking ability to control mechs so useful. Early on I was able to use the Assault but as time went by it became less effective. I usually posted them for haven duty. I ended up with a total of 85 soldiers with 35 being master sergeants. 16 scientists and 13 engineers. I would like to send out a big "Thank You" to all the people who put together all these wonderful mods that make Long War 2 the great game that it is. I can't wait to start another campaign.

Congratulations on your campaign victory. What was the timeline and relative positions of your 3 liberations? Were there any unusual AWC-enabled soldiers that played differently to others in their class? Which classes became your officers?
