I am currently trying to locate a facility in one region. I have got 10 rebels doing intel with occasional Avenger scans. I try to do each "Find a Lead" when I can, but nothing has come up..yet.

I was wondering. If I could liberate the region, would it destroy the facility and also reduce the Avatar Counter?
I have already for the Network Tower mission up. Just haven't done it since Advent Strength is currently 8.

Would liberation work to destroy the facility?

Pretty sure the answer is no, but just as sure you'd get the infiltration bonus for going all the way to fully liberating. So it'd help.

I believe the relevant Find A Lead missions are more likely to spawn in regions where the related facility is, so that would be a downside to liberating.

Not so sure about find a lead missions but most of the Facility Leads I get come from Rescuing Scientists that come with Intel Packages.
