I had a bunch of people on overwatch on a roof.

One of them shot at a drone that was in the building with a stansard ballistic rifle.

Managed to shoot the floor out from under themself, fell, started bleeding out, and caused the person who was next to them to panic.

I guess the class of the shooter was

I've had a sniper blow himself up (explosive tank he used for cover) while throwing a smoke grenade.

So they stand around in this troop ambush mission
On the ceiling of a fuel station
I throw a rocket at them
Damage from the rocket
Damage from the pump exploding
Fall damage
So everything is dead and officer survives with 1 HP
I know I destroyed lots of loot but this was too noice not to do it.
Also that was 8 enemies gone from a 12 enemy mission

I had a Specialist hack and shutdown a drown. The next turn he goes to shoot the shutdown drown which is 1 tile away but next to a car he using as cover. Of course, he misses the drown, instantly blows up the car and basically kills himself.

BTW, ever since I have always thought that shutdown drowns should get zero defense but why have a game that makes sense.

I just missed 3 80% (+8% to grace, 12% dodge) shots in a row. Sorry, not in the same category, but I just had to vent somewhere, somehow ADVENT pulled a 0.1728% success on me.

0.1728% is epic.

Just chiming in with the opposite.

HQ raid culminates in a fight with an all M3 command pod that goes badly south. Two soldiers on last turn of bleedout. A third standing in the open in front of the general, having just failed to finish him in a desperation move. With a probable 3 deaths next turn there would also be a high chance of panics and more deaths, possibly even a wipe.

2 actions left. Only she has the damage. 56% to hit. Really 46% as a graze wouldn't be enough. And she's wounded and in sight of both remaining enemies - no joke in a spider suit vs M3s.

Plum between the eyes. The colonel tidies up the shieldbearer with a quick soulfire. Mission over. Everyone makes it back.

Haven retal incoming, all Teams are occupied, luckily a jailbreak Mission is going to complete getting infiltrated halfway through the timer on the retal.
So I do this and I know, gotta Play this smart, gotta Play it safe, I Need those People to make it unwounded.
So I move real slow, shinobi ahead, he spots a drone that would have spotted him too had he moved one tile further. Phew.
Move the rest of the Team up into cover, drone moves up to us and stops just in front of cover.
2 Options: go loud or wait another turn. Since I can Shredder gun both the drone and the 3-pod behind it, I go loud.
2 crits, one Advent down, everything else half dead, drone moves up, shinobi gets spotted and Returns the favor with whirlwind, drone down.
I clean the rest up no prob, move further until next pod, which is 2 Codex and 1 Archon. Yuck.
All goes well until a 6HP Archon I wanted to rocket survives with 1 HP because the rocket decided to not at all go where I told it to go.
Ok I cope, I Oscar mike my ranger into shotgun Position - and trigger the last pod. Giant map and the final 2 pods are Close to each other, thanks. I shotgun the Codex, 79% to hit - and graze for 9.

Codex laughs at my face like a tramp and splits his personality like an Edward Norton. Next I move my tech up to one of those codexeces, 76% to hit, another graze for TWO (with a stuttermag for chrissake), Codex laughs again.

During my turn, 3 get wounded.

Ok, time to Play pillars of eternity before I sucker Punch my Monitor.
