It just occurred to me: This is unlikely to be another sniper rifle. Seems likely to me that we're looking at a Marksman Rifle similar to LW1! I for one am excited for the possibilities it has with relations to what LW will do with it I've long wanted to see Scouts with marksman rifles like in LW1. It'll give them a more unique flavour while going their ranged spec!

Opinions? Is it likely that this isn't just a re-skinned sniper rifle? How do you think it'll impact soldier mobility?

It appeared to be weaker even than the base assault rifle, so it's definitely mechanically different.
