Alien relay mayhem

This is a alien relay distraction mission. After completing the objective I just awaited around the evac point while overwatched for avant reinforcement to arrive. What happened after that you can see in the pictures. I could keep going but my pc starts to lag after 50 kill.

My question is why advent reinforcement spawn in same location over and over again, is the this intended?

ADVENT reinforcements spawn close to the centre of mass of XCOM at the start of XCOM's previous turn. But they should have ramped up to pods of 8 rather quickly. You must have had a good squad, perhaps max number of soldiers with good gear.
