So I've been wondering what missions actually drop bodies?

I haven't receieved any bodies since the first mission. Ive done a few missions where I did not have to evac such as defending a Haven and attacking a city center. I know you aren't supposed to get any bodies from missions where you skyranger evac but the lack of bodies is really starting to hinder my ability to research and build upgrades.

Basically any mission where you can win by killing all of the enemies instead of evaccing. I don't have a comprehensive list in front of me, but that's the general rule.

I've tried deleting my INI file and uninstalling and reinstalling the mod and I havent got any bodies from those types of missions. On those missions is it just a chance to get a body or should I be receiving a body for every non-explosive kill?

I'm trying Gatecrasher again real quick to see if any bodies drop on that mission.

Any recommendations on how to troubleshoot?

Bodies should drop from Gatecrasher, yes.
