Is there anyway to have (edit) a soldier's rank change as they progress through leadership training?

We investigated this while making the mod. It would take some re-writing of game code, which is a lot easier than it used to be. For the leader pack, it was beyond our scope (which was to make pure addons), but with class-swapping it isn't prohibitively difficult.

Hrmmm... Would it be do-able to simply rename the normal ranks down to what you had before? Hrmm then possibly make the new ranks apply a prefix to the rank prefix... But I guess that would require some alterations when it detects and then applies the title in the field.

I dunno, but the way you guys did the officer ranks in EU was just perfect. Especially how you could only have one colonel etc.
