I'm fairly sure Long Watch is more situational and Deadshot would be better. However, still thinking about Conceal instead of Aggression, Hunter's Instinct instead of Kubikiiri, and both Double Tap and Alpha Mike Foxtrot instead of Serial. Nope, need to autopsy a sectoid, and then have one in your base inventory. I just got the psionic research available popup after completing a disabled ufo mission and bringing home some corpses.

Rangers are okay early on but they lose ground later when they still only get their pair of shots (3 with rapid fire) and other classes get so much more, it would involve AWC investment but I think that would be worth it on the Ranger that is in position to use the pistol AND has the aim to use it....

I haven't gotten there yet, but it does say primary weapon, so probably just like Lethal, but with double the bonus.

If you use waypoints to avoid detection and it becomes a yellow move, though the target location would be blue if you moved the shortest distance, it will still count as blue, even though you detoured and it showed yellow. Sure there is. Replace the mag pistol with a coil pistol, or a plasma pistol. :P On a Shinobi with center mass and hunter's instincts. Does that also reset all learned AWC perks though? Just b/c I'm in late June, really don't want to lose everything >.< I've read that it does, haven't used it myself. You could ini edit to turn on instant AWC training to put you back at your current level though. Debug settings at the top of the XC...

Joinrbs, had the same comments after his L/I campaign, rangers just don't have the damage, it took getting run and gun from the AWC for a ranger to really start being worth noting. Yeah, squaddie upgrade sets AWC perks, this is permanent and there's no console command to fix it except one which rerolls the AWC tree for ALL of your soldiers. Slash has always ended the turn AFAIK(exception: if you have the Implacable perk and make a kill). You need to train the quickdraw pistol perk in the AWC for the pistol to not end the turn.

I moved the sawed-off over to the gunner and gave the targetting scanner to rangers. I've done a bit of class tweaking myself, but haven't touched weapons yet. I want to give Psi Operatives swords though... I've got a bunch of Witcher characters in my character pool, so the idea came naturally. :) ...

Ever seen Chryssallids with lightning reflexes, that activate and attack on the same turn? Combatives seems like the ultimate counter to that. The pistol perks are special, they randomize completely and the level of the perk only matters for training time.

Which reminds me, you probably have to define the training time if you add more levels of perks.
