Just had a "region invasion" mission, where the aliens try to take back a liberated zone, and where you have to 1) kill aliens 2) destroy transponder 3) save civilians (or resistance personnel, but none of them are armed, so...) There were two bugs. The first bug, which seems more serious,...

Impossible to move at spawn, damaged roof.

Spawned on damaged roof, shinobi was unable to move at all, even after multiple mission restarts. Shinobi started on tile that looks like it was seared, right next to gaping hole in roof.

version 1.2, windows 10, etc.

I think i'm losing...

Avatar project is 5 bumps away from completion. But the problem is that the aliens keep wiping out my havens. They have 10, 9, 8 strength in multiple areas, and most of the troop convoy missions are coming in at less than 2 days infil, with heavy baseline numbers.

Is there a way to turn this around?

Intel collected bug

During a mission, my specialist both hacked a relay ( or wierd alien streetlight or whatever it is called) and received intel, but he also later skulljacked an advent officer for 10 intel.
The after-action reports state that i was awarded 10 intel, total.

Bug or feature?
Sectoid mind-controls a squaddie, and then the rest of the squad panics. Wipe follows. If it is feature, i would like to get rid of it. Point me to the .ini please.

the gun on the first mec suit does the same thing, btw. The fiery tiles theory doesn't work for that.

This greatly hinders the use though. It is reasonable for enemies to stay in cover. It is also reasonable that a technical will not want to stand in the open. Therefore the only situation where the flamethrower can be used is where there are at least 2 tiles of cover separated by a third tile (since...

Haven invaded and wiped

I had a liberated haven, but could not fight back when it was invaded- all my soldiers were out on other missions. Now my haven has no people in it. How do i get it back? Can i get new recruits for the area? It was a pretty bad loss. I lost over 13 resistance people there.

The flamethrower still needs work on its point of origin and its path. The "kick out" that it has now is very counterintuitive. Often you cannot hit something right in front of you.

Viper King reappears after death

I killed the Viper King. I know i did, and i have a soldier wearing his skin. A few missions later, the Viper King reappears. I killed him again ( he was low health, at least), but I got the "we must research this" message, after getting back to the ship.

And yes, Ironman. I wanted to get in a few attempts before i did ironman....also i think it is early days yet. Show stopping bugs would ruin an ironman game.

The weird thing is, i saw no way through for my shinobi, on that first room. Only way i could see would be to break stealth by smashing windows.
