NO! with that much nerfs I would just never use it at all. Pretty sure that poster was saying one, maybe two of those suggestions could be implemented. It sounds like incendiaries are unbalanced because they are too readily accessible, rather than that a 100% burning effect is OP. Just make it gren...

I use all three types. I think holobots are the weakest, but they have a role and it's something your 55 aim gatecrasher rookie can do after he decides to make himself a sharpshooter. @gimrah: If you as a veteran of a lot of playtesting say all three are usable, I think that carries a lot of weight...

Just to be more concrete on what we all mean by "AI improvements", here are some ideas for behavior for aliens who are being attacked from who-knows-where: (1) Clueless pods sprint away from danger and spread out much wider than normal to cover more area and try to catch a glimpse of XCOM....

Not only the RNG nerf kind of completely ruins the point of flame grenades, but it also pushes the game even farther in a direction I am not liking: plain cover destroying + shots. To be frank, i don't know why he is griping about DFA snipers when he is happily abusing Combatives to take a good portion of the tough enemies out of the game. Works like a charm! Except you have to manually end your turn if there are enemies on overwatch your Specialist can apply Interference on ;) True... but you should've killed or suppressed that unit by then anyway, right? I'm used to hitting End to end my turn sometimes anyway because I made picking...

Good news, everyone! Turns out you can implement the "free action" option yourself with a simple *.ini edit: Head over to \Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\268500\844674609\Config\ XComLW_SoldierSkills.ini , search for interference , and set INTERFERENCE_ACTION_POINTS=0 Works like a charm!

Reinforcments are largely dependent ob advent strength in the region. The rate is RNG-based, however, so it is not known before mission when exactly they will arrive. We're not supposed to know exactly when they will arrive, sure. But certain mission types (as far as I know) never get reinforcement...

I found the bug for this. The event handler wasn't being removed properly for the TrojanVirus effect that is added to the enemy unit. It fires at the beginning of every turn, both player and enemy. The first two ticks it is ignored since the mec is still stunned or mind controlled, and the 3rd tick...
