The issue I'm having in 1.3 is the balance of finding troop columns vs the risk of incurring haven or intel retaliations. If a region gets too hot (AS > 4), I'll put 2 on Intel, 2 on recruit, and leave the rest hiding, and as a result i'm not finding any troop columns which means in August I still ...

Thanks for the reply. I'd forgotten I'd posted this. It turns out that there was a random typo in my XComClassData.ini that was causing the problem. I probably accidentally put it there when browsing the file. Glad I didn't submit it as a bug.

I play on Commander, so the experience is a bit different, but I feel I've got a good grasp of the strategic layer and I can see where you might be having some problems. You can definitely add more perk levels to the AWC. I've done it before, just to see if it works. You don't even need scripts, it's all doable via ini. Things will probably get weird if you add more than 7 tiers to one of the perk trees, since the UI doesn't support it.

when you've generated two missions in a region, What's the reason for this? The mission cap has been raised. I don't think that this is true? I just, right now, got missed by an officer after he marked a soldier in low cover. He had a juicy 35% to hit, too. The effect isn't real man. I'm sorry. It's just confirmation bias.
