Way off topic but +1 just for mentioning Thaco.

It was sort of weird you specifically mention Thaco as this morning I was thinking about how much graze reminded me of the old D&D natural fumble rules.

Saying "rupture: x" where x is the amount of rupture currently on the target would be good in the same way it states disorient, stun, etc. Might not be possible given that I suspect this is handled by vanilla code.

I'm interested in hearing how it goes for players who use this, but it was a deliberate call to not expose that bit of info to the player and no plans to change that. It's really intended to be an internal AI variable that guides its strategic decision-making, not a player-facing variable to manage...

I think the only real reason this bothers people is they believe that a shot where they have either 100% or 0% to hit should never graze. Intuitively, players clamp hit chances at 0% and 100%. People just need to get used to the fact that LW2 instead clamps at -graze% and 100+graze% (so -10% and 11...

Meh, the only "problems" I have with the classes are: -sharpshooters can only equip sniper rifles. If they could use SMGs they would be a great holo-target + officer combo. -shinobi ... I would have prefered a different name. Oh noes - what a game breaker. :D I kinda agree with gunners an...

I do see some similarities between the classes. And I do think the gunner is too mobile. It's supposed to. Gollop developed the original XCOM and has said that he highly enjoyed some of the changes brought by the new firaxis titles, so he's borrowing the ones he enjoys to use in Pheonix Point (the global map for instance).
