Translations are not delaying the patch, that's something easy that's just happening in parallel.

They're still doing final playtesting and balancing since much has changed. It's not ready yet.

1.1 and 1.2 were mostly bugfixes. 1.3 is a big rebalancing leap, that's why it's taking so long.

A future 1.4 is more likely to be small-ish bugfix and polish changes, compared to this big 1.3 overhaul.

1.3 incentivizing mobility refers to the fact that mobility is more important tactically, not that gunners became better at it. Gunners are more stationary with more reloading, meaning that when they need to move they'll be shooting less and/or using their special abilities less. That's the point. A...

I think people should stop insisting that a particular unresistable or near-100% chance to stun certain high-level enemies is necessary.

It was way too much of a crutch. Certain enemies are dangerous and that is intentional. Find other ways to deal with them, that's your challenge.

I'd assume it's on a sliding scale, so 0% infiltration can be a tactical nightmare but, say, 75% infiltration won't be all *that* bad.

Yup, and high dodge with the lowest defense (relative to the rest of your soldiers) is good on tanky characters, so they draw fire and soak it up as grazes

70 living enemies is not a typo, it's a cap on the number of enemies on the map to avoid crazy outlier scenarios. Practically you might never encounter this cap. I would also note that whatever sage and incisive criticism may or may not be floating around unshared in someone's head, 1.3 is close enough on the horizon and has made enough big changes (see updated changelog) that it seems mostly moot now. Agreed with that edit.. my general view: Vanilla XCOM 2 was good enough to play through once. Heavily modded (ABA and such), it was good enough to play through a second time. LW2 1.x so far has been good enough to play through...about once in my view, plus watching some streamers if that's your thin...

Currently when you skip a mission, it's obvious that you miss out on the rewards and event counters of that mission.

There are no obvious indicators that you're also missing out on slowing Avatar progress.

Wanting to make this more clear to new players is not "over-complicating" things.
