I too had the feeling on 1.3 release that aliens was hitting me way more than likely... but since then it's started evening out, so either it was something that was fixed, or it was just confirmation bias...

You should also be aware that modded classes with secondary pistols also won't work with the AWC perks for pistols in LW2

If pods are getting a scamper on your turn without activating, then that is not LW2 (or at least we've never seen that in testing). Yeah I get their animation like as if they activated, but then they just walk slowly in their normal patrol (during my turn). Guess I need to figure out what mod does ...

Something else I've only noticed since 1.3 (but might be part of other mods I'm running) is that if my concealed shinobi finds an enemy squad, they get a move, even if they don't see him, and that movement can make them see my other soldiers and fully activate them. How about saying that column ambush and supply raids are something you can't plan for, you just get an opening to do it immediately. So there's no infiltration, and it has to be done immediately or not at all, and it could be balanced according to that (maybe give it similar troops to a 100% infiltr...

I laughed when I was watching a streamer that most recently played Mass Effect: Andromeda, then played XCom2 and was like "wow these models look amazing!" :D
