I'm not sure this fixes it.
The basic question is if there are no corpses why wouldn't you stealth a mission? They payoff on the strategy layer is almost always bigger from stealth.

I've also seen it kill lots of advent when it targets corpses around where they are so works both ways...

I could live without 6-7 man mission if the larger missions were not so dull. I only ever seem to fight by sitting in a corner and waiting for waves of enemies to come to me. Moving-fighting-moving-fighting seems impossible. I can't remember the last time I've been able to take a flank shot without ...

so by bring new baddies in earlier you increase the incentive for good players to do them as it opens up new research from the corpses earlier....

Saw the beserker queen on the blacksite.

Stunned it and killed it in one turn. It helped that it walked into the spot I had set up fire teams around the turn before to kill the the turbo bug.

I think it is an identified bug, I also think there is something in the 1.2 change log.

On my game I can build many, so not sure what triggers it.

It is frustrating that this does not show in the UI at the squad select stage. Also frustrating that I've just put an AWC flashbanger on a high mobility shinobi thinking it was free. So liberating a less than strength 5 region can lead to under kill, i.e. str 4 - presumably only 4 die, which is less than the theoretical ideal.
Something to throw into the decision making mix next campaign.

Do liberations remove advent strength or just relocate it?
If I liberate a strength 5 region does global strength go down by 5?

(I know I can test this but my campaign in in a bit of a death spiral and I'm not liberating anything soon).

Am I right in thinking that the perks get assigned on character creation (rather than AWC level up) therefore the fix above won't impact existing characters?
Does that also apply to recruits before they become rookies? (i.e. a solider in the recruit screen has and already rolled AWC tree?)

If there is a cut off at 4 does that mean that a Haven with 3 supply, 3 intel, 3 recruit is functionally equivalent to a haven with everyone hiding? Given that the snapshot perk modifies the range penalties on the sniper rifle, could the other classes not have a base perk that increases the shotgun penalties at long range?

Sorry by range I mean't radius, which I think is the same as AOE.

Is volatile mix the same as vanilla? as I think the perk was changed by a patch in vanilla to remove the radius increase.
