Bugged cover

For once I'm not the one being affected.

Reloading fixes it and I correctly get 19% to hit against the officer as he is (correctly) in full cover.

The amount of reflex actions on Legendary is quickly getting on my nerves. Nope, Ufopaedia is incorrect, Blacksite is revealed after Network Tower is brought down. Avatar clock revealed after HQ is brought down.

I got a 17 mobility 57ish aim Sawed-off ranger running around executing people left and right. We'll see how the build holds after I'm done with the early game, but so far it's very useful on Ex Light missions where he can handle both the Drones and the high health aliens like Mutons and Captains.

You don't. See, all Technicals are actually Fire Mages is disguise. The other skills are merely cantrips from other schools that you aren't suppossed to learn. :twisted:

You should totally post this in the Bug subforum, hopefully with the last autosave from /My Games/XCOM2/XComGame/SaveData (gotta use a hosting site tho).

They'll tell you which console commands to use to salvage your campaign and provide some insight on what's happening.

Hmmm.... Not sure about this, but it seems as though you can no longer go negative on monthly income? If you remember, in 1.2, it was advantageous to spend all your money before the end of the month if your income was in the red, since your actual supply count could not go negative. Completely agree that this build is hella-fun and very effective on Guerrilla Op missions or even light troop columns. If you scout ahead you can know beforehand where the pods will be coming from and you can overwatch with adequate cover. Otherwise you can just activate on your turn foregoing the overwatch trap but nullifying the reactions shots.

New Sapper is pretty strong. You blow up almost anything at center square except whole trees and other very strong materials. I think you missed one of the most important requirements for this Ranger: It needs to have high mobility.

IIRC the Blacksite reveals when you complete the Network Tower mission. Completing HQ Assault only reveals the Avatar completion bar.

Sure, Liberation is a way to increase Vigilance and slow down the Avatar progress. But so is taking down facilities and doing the Golden Path missions. My biggest deal with Liberating more than 1-2 regions is that on Legendary you're looking at getting over 100 legions around the end of the 1st year...

I modded my config files to add some of the 1.3 changes. Out of the top of my head:

- Reduced flashbang radius.
- Reduced smoke grenade and dense smoke bonuses.
- Reduced disoriented and poisoned aim malus.
- Roust to 50% damage.
- Sapper enviroment damage +1.

I have had missions where you need to evac a group of rebels not spawning the rebels and not letting me evac my soldiers. Don't do Ironman.

You know, I started a campaign yesterday (with some of the balance changes edited in to get used to them) and just at Gatecrasher one my best prospects got one-shotted thru high cover. And he didn't even have a large defense malus. I place the blame entirely on these kind of posts.
