Low Aim and low Mobility usually means high HP and positive Dodge and Defense. I make some of these into a Kenshi Shinobis (if I feel like it) and consider them expendable goods but most end up as Saboteur (Scout) Shinobis if I can't get more of those sweet 16-17 mobility rookies. Gunners must be ridiculous. Kill all the important targets with 100% shots, double and triple shot the big targets in the open, supress the crap out of the rest. Probably wouldn't hurts to have a Support Grenadier to Sting the ability users you can't finish between HoB cooldowns.

I think completing the Network Tower gives a spike in Vigilance and thus it brings an increase in ADVENT strenght.

I don't think I'd ever take a Gunner without Hail of Bullets, no matter how much aim you get. There will always be stuff that needs to be killed ASAP, and it usually sits behind full cover and has +defense or +dodge. I get shred from other sources. If your Support Grenadier has low aim take it. I usually take Chain Shot tho, because my Support Grenadiers usually have high aim and Chain Shot is a great ability to have around.

I usually get one with the cash inflow after I liberate my first region. You basically get some cheap scientists, that's always good.

Besides opening with it the sort of flanks you can use it on usually happens when fighting inside buildings like the ADVENT ones where they grab the sides of a door. As always, you risk revealing another pod.

Commander difficulty. I sneak a long range squad into the comm room, sniper, gunner, ranger, etc. All you need is patience, as in, if you see you won't be able to pass thru, backtrack and try the other route. Supply/Haven Defense
I just want to give props to Pavonis for these missions. Specially the Supply Defense. I'm milking these on a region with ADVENT strenght 5 (and almost everyone on Supply) because not only you get a bunch of bodies, getting to play defense for a change is incredibly fun.

That's why my flamer techs are exclusively high mobility soldiers, equipped with SMGs and max 2 items. I'm cool with getting a range increase, but just saying, you can work around it.

I kinda stopped consistently using Snipers as killing machines, mostly because cover is so hard to remove in LW2.
