Along with the other crit raising devices, I've taken to having my Psi Operative work in tandem with my snipers. Mind Merge is good for +20 crit. Seems a bit more versatile than bringing a holobot.

Thanks for the reply. I took the perk but up until that time I'd never really needed to use it. I wanted to try to give it a go, but it seems a little cumbersome. I could be wrong but it feels like the perk needs quite a few crutches to be useful.

Oh wow.... I can't say that I've had difficulty with the Blacksite, but I figured that was because it was the first GP mission. The others didn't seem that much harder, assuming they are OK, schedule wise. But I've only finished one campaign, lol. I've only had one set of RNFs on my Blacksite missio...

As I understand it facility leads are an 'intel package'. So if you see a mission without an intel package in the reward then it's not a facility lead mission. On Commander and Legend I would expect to field 5 man squads as standard, especially before tactical infiltration GTS bonus. I mostly wouldn't bother fielding more than 6 even if the timer allowed unless it was more than very light or very early game to train rookies. 4 man squads can get hairy. I'...

It's a give and take deal. Sapper gives you an option against targets behind full cover that can't be flanked. RD puts out a debuff while other characters solve that issue. My issue is that there aren't a whole lot of solutions to that problem that can fit into a 5-man GOp team, and if the Grenadie...

Smoke is really good for when you are fighting lots of enemies over several turns in a relatively static fight (e.g. because n timer and/or lots more enemies in the fog). What you need is to keep your intel (resource) game up at all times and keep expanding so that you get to the regions where the GP missions spawn. Say you have a pod of 8 troopers just standing around, and instead of dropping an incendiary or sting grenade on them, probably taking half, or more of them out of the fight immediately, you just start shooting? My grenadiers do damage in first monthwith regular grenades, mid game with incendiaries and sort of in very late game with EMP bombs. ...Yes they are mainly for GOps.
