Final Countdown?

Is there still a final countdown after the Avatar Project Counter fills all the way up, as in the vanilla version? Or, due to the longer bar overall, does the game just end immediately after all the pips are filled?

As a side-note, does anyone actually know where the soldiers learning in the AWC do supposedly go? It visually looks like purely a MedBay, and I assume they don't just sit in the biggest, fanciest bed and download their new skill...

I assume it's a holdover from EW where you make genemod soldiers from putting them in a vat (tube) of orange goo. I see. That makes sense. I never actually ended up doing much with MELD, since my only experience with the EW expansion content was through Long War 1, and it took fifty billion pounds ...

I don't what difficulty you're playing SouthpawHare, but on Legendary, there are some missions you will find out about with only 1 to 3 days left before they expire. You will never infiltrate a fighting squad in time without facing a lot of Aliens who you will never be able to fight through within ...

What exactly is the significance of the items on this table with a range of "0 tiles"? Isn't that basically nothing?
