If you don't play Legendary.
If you miss shot with big chance hit - game will give you bonus to hit on next shot (not displayed).

Use Perfect information for Long War 2.

Str 6 Light mission with Rookies. I watched his Str 5 Lib 1 (or 2) - it is always (natural) disaster. He knows that.

Early - I have trouble to throw the bombs so below 70 aim is SMG Grenadier. I can flank better for more aim with them.
And yes SMG are crap early on.
SMG for solo or double mission is another thing.

Agree Not hitting enough is strateg/tactical huge penalty. SMG/bomb spawn is not consistently reliable. Early Laser Rifle is reduction in wounds/deaths. Price - delaying Mag for few weeks. You will get more scientist / supply / missions with bigger (not wounded) barracks. My point is get bigger not ...

Last time on Commander I had 4+ before 1st supply raid. After contacting third region I was looking at 7+ and I had big barracks to support my "region jumping". With big barracks I stopped to infiltrate over 40%-60% and I was covering two missions with one squad . 3 more advent ? Not a big...

Forgot to put SMG-s on my soldiers. Will have to fight. Not big problem with my better squad and my rookies on 14 man GOPs are better with rifle. If reinforcements start drop on top of me I will regret not using more shotguns.

Wasting all that research to get ahead of time from my perspective is just bunch of abandoned missions and lots of dead soldiers. Vigilance do not hit just one region. Depending on mission it will spread to another region.

Success in Troop Maneuvers will decrease RV (Reginal Vigilance) on the region, but there's a 50% chance of increasing RV by +1 on an adjacent region

More troop Maneuvers - more vigilance in other regions.

Don't try that on Legendary. It is not important. Living rookie is worth more missions. Early most important mission is jailbreak (if you get it). It will build up 1st haven cutting the time for rookie factory. You can rush 2nd region if you did not have losses - this is valid but you will be out of...

It should crash if you removed Gameplay mods and loaded same save.
Start new game. See if game runs.

Then check your mod list and load order.
