Are you sure that you are editing the LW2 ini files and not the xcomgame or default ini files? I really think stealth is going to be almost impossible in 1.3, especially early game, and something you're not going to want to try unless you absolutely have to. About the only way to get advent strength down is by doing supply raid and troop column missions in the region or by doing lots of missions in other areas and no missions in the region you want to shrink. Just a quick note to add that in 1.3 putting your Rebels on the Hiding job also reduces Vigila...

Also, where did you see that 1.3 is imminent? That wording makes me think within a day or two, and I haven't yet seen anything to that effect being said by those with authority. "It is imminent" is kind of an inside joke, because prior to LW2 launch Amineri said it to someone on this foru...

Back on Topic: @Zloth, Sir, Davi I agree, this is a big concern for players who solely utilize / depend on Steam Workshop. The changes in 1.3 may not break their saves, rendering them corrupt / useless, but it will make some fundamental changes to classes / progression timing / etc. that could ruin...

Wow. Ummm, so anyway... Other mod sources don't push. The player has to go out and pull in the update and you can educate them on 0'ing out the respec timer right then. (Many will ignore it but that's on them.) Steam does push, though, and players will start the game up only to find their soldiers ...

Given the huges changes to Perks, does anyone know what would happen to a 1.2 save game if loaded in 1.3? Will it just break? I'm testing that now.
