This is a known bug in 1.2 and will be fixed in 1.3. It will require a new campaign to go away completely though - you may still get extra DLC mission points of interest if you upgrade a 1.2 campaign.

It's a little weird that they activated at all while you were in concealment, usually they are not allowed to do that, and this is why the game freaks out so much. The rocketeer pod is trying to scamper, but it's not letting them scamper while you're still concealed. I discovered the reason for that...

Unfortunately the alien on fire bug is harder to fix, because we don't have much direct control over the exact tiles where pods are spawned, and it doesn't seem to check to make sure those tiles aren't on fire before choosing them (or the fires aren't spawned until after the units are already placed...

I can repro this problem and I know the problem. Working on a solution for 1.3. This might just involve moving the evac zone slightly on those missions where you start on top of it, because we don't have a lot of mod control over the behavior of the restart mission command.

Thanks to the save from caseywills I've found the bug and checked in a fix. It'll be in 1.3. Basically the problem was the new activity-based DEs failed to disable the clock inside the vanilla DE. So, I've tracked down the problem and it seems reproducible only if you have Overwatch All enabled. I'm not sure what in particular in that mod causes the bug, or what weird interaction between it and LW2 does. I came up with a slightly better fix for this that shouldn't interfere with the after action report. Basically I just record the current HP of the unit on mission start, and if the unit ends the mission with more HP than that, it reduces it back down to the value they started with. Usually this occurs when you infiltrate a mission that is detected with 0 hours remaining and is already fixed for 1.3. If you don't think it's the same scenario you can try giving us a link to your saved game (on something like gdrive or dropbox or whatever).

OnMission isn't supposed to be used for that, it should be eStatus_Healing for wounded soldiers. In the psi op save I have that I can actually debug, I can see the wounded psiop has status Active, which is incorrect, it should've been reset to healing. Thanks for the report. One of our testers also just found an issue with squad autofill filling wounded soldiers too, which may also be related. It sounds like something is off with the post-mission status setting. I'll take a look at your saves and see what I can see.

The resistance mec was still causing a problem even with my bugfix. With the save I've fixed this issue now too and the missions should end properly when you full-override a mec on a mission with a resistance mec present.

It doesn't happen for me, so either I fixed it (accidentally, with the squad disappearing fix) or it isn't always reproducible. If you can send me your save I'd really appreciate it, cause that'd settle it.

If you have a save that repros this problem, please send me a link to it. I don't believe I fixed this with the fix I made in 1.3 to solve the disappearing squad bug (which was also related to missions expiring) but I can't repro the DE bug.

I believe I already have a fix for the bug(s) listed here. But if you want to provide a save I can double-check that it is fixed for these cases too. The easiest way to get the save to us is to drop it on some filesharing or cloud drive service (dropbox, gdrive, etc.) and just paste or PM me a link....
