Only used Shinobi officers in my campaign. Used to take high mobility rookie as Shinobi. But now only make those low to mid mob rookies as Shinobi. Alwsys take 10 men squad. The added firepower and utilities help a lot in this large fight. I find it helpful to move back slightly in turn 1 if there are covers. Affer spending sometime playing using assault, I find that I like electroshock more that LR. I find chain lighthing work well with electroscock. When you need CL most is likely because there ard too many threats to be handle by your team. So any miss that turn into disorient is welcome. LR still got...

Confirm still lots of MECs in 1.5. Confirm only plasma/frag get shred from HEAT. Not sure about penetration. Spec builds sound good, except EV is really useful on an OW spec and I wouldn't swap it for airdrop unless you build grenadiers for cover destruction. Especially UFO assault. Had a pods full...

I would highly recommend any one new to decision making to play Xcom Ironman mode. It is a good simulation on risk taking, mitigation, and consequences.

I do like the ideal of Torquemara on soldier loadout. Essential we keep the soldier prefer loadout but not the actual equipment. When go on mission, the game will try to load the loadout of the chosen soldier. The challenge is how to effectively let the player know what is missing.

That could be the case. I do not have the mod that reveal vigilant, but it shown as severe and Avatar progress is slow by 79% in Haven management screen.

No sure is this normal or my game is bugged. Started a campaign in 1.4 and updated to 1.5 after the new vesion released. Currently in April 4 2036, with 10 regions liberated. If you have smash and grab GOps better finish it before update. Many peoole encounter negative timer on S&G. But game can still run.

Regarding non-arc assaults: lightning reflexes clears overwatches for the whole group, in contrast to the shinobis shadowstep which only protects the soldier. This is a very important use case in missions where you need to move and don't have the resources to flashbang everything. And it only costs...
