Just the other day I was thinking the Gatekeepers are tentaculats in suits so they can leave the water.

My thoughts, I have only played the game through on normal mode which turned out to be a cake walk. The drops are easily to shoot to bits BUT on rare occasion they land in the right place at the right time to really mess you up. Also on harder difficulties I expect they are more of an issue to deal ...

I really like the ADVENT troubleshooter idea, they don't have too many defensive buffing units.

The phosphorous rounds are good too, I was thinking about tracer rounds which give + aim for your squad, similar idea

oh, I was imagining the red creep from war of the worlds taking over the planet, that would be pretty cool to see in XCOM....

Yes this is another xcom2 bug, for me, when i grapple t he character doesn't move. The body stays in the original place but aiming and moving is based on where he grappled too :P
