Re: Avatar project timer increases after a story mission completion.
Glad it's not just me. Not even the console command can remove pips from the doom counter with this bug in effect. I've had to set my ironman campaign aside (one pip remaining!) until this gets sorted.

Re: 1.3 stealth concerns
Some of you liked it, some of you want to do 50+ missions like that in a campaign. Fine, tastes differ. But you are a small minority of the playerbase, and many can hardly wait for 1.3's changes because we've grown terribly sick of 1.2's stealth giving consistently better results than combat. I thi...

Re: 1.3 stealth concerns
I, too, will be disappointed if the LW2 answer to complaints about stealth play in 1.2 is just to steer away from it. I think a better balance would be found in fleshing out the stealth options in a more interesting way. It is possible - I think a mod like Tactical Suppressors has shown that it is -...

Re: What gameplay changing mods are you using?
What makes absolutely no sense for me (i only tested the melee stealth) is the way you become "invisible" for an entire turn (alien turn included) when you use Silent Takedown. I agree that the melee one is weird in that way, but I wouldn't tar Tactical Suppressors with that same brush, a...

Re: What gameplay changing mods are you using?
Tactical Suppressors and Spec Ops combat knives . When everyone else is complaining about the push into stealth on 1.2, I'm loving it. Enjoying it so much, in fact, my big fear for 1.3 is that Pavonis will overreact to the criticism, and end up spoiling it. I also feel the same way you do about Com...

That was the original name for the Codex. Still present as a label in config files, but always called 'codex' in-game.Also, anyone know what a Cyberus is?

Re: Hidden Potential "Formulations"
This might be a naive question, but isn't this running around the point in a rather overcomplicated way? I mean, the OP's goal, as I understand it, is to bump up the median values (he talks about shifting mins and maxes, but seems to increase many of them the same amount in the same direction, so I ...
