Bandwidth may be a concern for some, but I think for the majority of users it is not. For those that aren't concerned about 2 GBs, getting the mod from Nexus instead of Steam would be a solution.

Psi strength visible?

Is there a way to make psi strength visible? It's a bit annoying to me that, by the time I have researched Psionics (which can't really be rushed from the start due to the lack of a second Sectoid corpse), I barely have any classless recruits left.

Alright, thanks.

Does anyone know how many intel personnel I would require to reliably spot Dark Events happening in the region (and super reinforcement UFOs, if that's feasable)? Because that seems like something worthwhile to be on the lookout for.

Thanks all. The argument that you lose out on a couple of missions, hence XP and loot, is a good one. I'm actually quite glad about not having to restrain myself to keep below Severe, it's much more fun to hit as hard as I can doing as many missions as I can.

I guess 4 guys would be okay as long as the Avenger is helping. But I digressed, sorry. This thread was supposed to be about how much sense it makes to put more havens on intel than you can do missions for, in order to cherry pick the most interesting missions.

Say, once I do have a strength 7+ region (Old Age in OP), what do I do with it? The Op says it doesn't matter much, but I do have 13+ rebels in there and would really like to know what to have them do. I need a little intel to find troop columns, but what else do I do with the rebels?

Huh. Maybe switch to recruit for a month on new regions after I got a jailbreak and free the VIP? Because those missions will be on cooldown. I tend to put just as many havens on intel that I can field almost every mission they throw at me, with preference to running intel on 4+ strength havens for noticing retaliations. The rest of the havens get recruit (if not fully staffed) or supplies (if fully staffed). Because i find the idea of us...

Putting all guys on intel in a region you want to liberate should usually be enough, provided you got the number of recruits in the double digits..
