I have the same bug, so hoping if there is a fix for it. I tried blowing up the door but non sapper grenades weren't good enough. Using teleport to cursor I was able to have a soldier enter the van and activate the VIP but then needed teleport to cursor the soldier and VIP back out since they couldn...
