This just killed me!
Lost 50% of MC, which tipped me from having headroom into over MC cap, followed by immediate assaults on every single orbital & hab that I had.
All gone in 3 turns.

I think you just got unlucky in this run. The Squddies don't often seem to go for Ceres - and I believe it really is important too because you can get so much back from it. Short of going full war, all you can really do is either A - look elsewhere and suck it up, or B - restart the run and hope for...

Another factor that I have found out helps - and I found this the hard way - is that you really do need to keep up pretty regular diplomatic correspondence with the other factions too. I tend to keep obsolete orgs and outposts I don't really need any longer as trade gifts to improve relations. Tech ...

I w ish I had saved my last attempt now. Had a similar issue - Hate Meter was at 3 bars, having dropped down from 4 bars and all seemed okay. That would make sense (I think).
I had the 0% happen 3 times in a row before it started to climb up in my favour, so having to change minds away from Alien/Servant to Undecided before going my way seems logical enough to me.

I am in awe of those yields - never seen anything even close to that. I do like the ideas mentioned about Boost costs though - that makes a lot of sense to me, even though I am finding it is a really fine line between having enough boost to get Mining started and spending all boost keeping orbitals ...
